The first Ameriwiki Challenge is basically complete; most of our old content has been moved, including everything vital.

The second Ameriwiki Challenge is to start expanding our collection of stubs. No, I don't mean make the collection bigger; make the articles bigger.

There's a new Ameriwiki Challenge for us, which hopefully we can complete before New Years. As we're a US-centric encyclopedia we need to create articles on all 50 states. So far 36 are done - only 14 more to add before New Years. Please create your home state, one of its neighbors or if you're not a US resident any one you fancy. Try to include at least when it became a state, what the capital is and a few words about its economy. The state flag would be nice, too. Congratulations, everyone! This challenge was completed on December 31. The articles still need a lot of work though, so let's not forget to expand them.

Many of the articles on US states are still stubs. Let's get them all expanded to a reasonable length!
Let's get an article done for each state capital. Articles should include at least the population of the city, the date it was founded and a tourist attraction or point of interest in the city. Also please include, at a minimum, a photo of a significant part of the city or a map showing its location within the state. Only four state capitals have articles so far; let's all try to do at least two or three.
Incorporate geographic coordinates for every article that addresses a place or location.
